I don't know what this means but it sounds good.

Barely five months in my new found job but I'm no longer happy. I want to quit but I can't :(

Dear STAFF ,
Please be advised that these are NEW rules and regulations implemented to
raise the efficiency of our firm.

1) TRANSPORTATION:
It is advised that you come to work driving a car according to your salary.

a) If we see you driving a Honda, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a raise.
b) If you drive a 10 year old car or taking public transportation, we
assume you must have lots of savings therefore you do not need a raise.
c) If you drive a Pickup, you are right where you need to be and therefore
you do not need a raise.

2) ANNUAL LEAVE :
Each employee will receive 52 Annual Leave days a year ( Wow! said 1
employee).
- They are called SUNDAYs.

3) LUNCH BREAK :
a) Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy.
b) Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to
maintain their average figure.
c) Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed
to drink a Slim Fast and take a diet pill.

4) SICK DAYS:
We will no longer accept a doctor Medical Cert as proof of sickness.
- If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

5) TOILET USE :
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilets.
a) There is now a strict 3-minute time limit in the cubicles.
b) At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll
will retract, the door will open and a picture will be taken.
c) After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company
bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders" category.
d) Subsequent pictures will be sold at public auctions to raise money to
pay your salary.

6) SURGERY :
As long as you are an employee here, you need all your organs.
- You should not consider removing anything. We hired you intact.
- To have something removed constitutes a breach of employment.

7) INTERNET USAGE :
All personal Internet usage will be recorded and charges will be deducted
from your bonus (if any) and if we decide not to give you any, charges
will be deducted from your salary.
- Important Note: Charges applicable as Rs.20 per minute as we have
4MB connection.

Just for information, 73% of staff will not be entitled to any salary for
next 3 months as their Internet charges have exceeded their 3 months
salary.

Today was my first day in the office and I was bored to death. The entire day was spent purely on orientation, explaining this and that. For some reason I felt that it was such a long eight hours and I felt so tired. Tomorrow will be the same so it's like saying that Friday will be my first official working day where i get to do my new role in the company.

I asked the HR officer during orientation if I could come to the office wearing tshirts or shorts and I was told NO. I miss the times that I would go to work wearing shorts and slippers.

My five weeks of vacation is finally over. Tomorrow I start working for a new company. I'm excited and nervous about my new role.

I want another five weeks of vacation :P

Although I was uncertain I've given up something that is so important to me God knows that I prayed so hard for this. Oh Lord, please make it happen.

Call me the most jologs person on earth but I really don't mind. It's more than a month already since this soap ended but everytime time I would watch it again for some reason it makes me cry. Maybe because the main characted died at the end of the story or I’m really just a cry baby. I miss this soap so much.

This is the final episode when Flor died :-)

Today is my last day of work here in the office. I was thinking of sending out a spam email to inform all my friends that I'm leaving the company but I decided not to. I guess there's no need for drama since later on they will find out. Besides most of them already knew that I'm leaving.


I took a picture of my workstation before I officially leave the office. I will surely miss this area.




Thank God I have one month to rest before I start with my new job.

For two weeks now I enjoyed watching TV just to catch this TVC. Even my 2 year nephew is stunned everytime he would see this on TV. I wish we have this TVC during my early days.

It's official, I finally got the job. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers. I am very grateful and humbled by this wonderful blessing.

It's exactly a week now since I started my no-more-rice diet. Imagine no rice and not even bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I plan to do this for at least three months until I get my desired weight :-)

Maybe it's not meant for me although I'm still grateful for the opportunity.

Several months ago I wrote my frustrations in LJ about what happened to me here at work. I told myself that I would start looking for another job but I'm too lazy to even review jobstreet or jobsdb to check for possible employment.

However a friend of mine who works for a multinational IT company asked for my resume so he could recommend me to his superiors. In the last two weeks I've been going back to their office for a series of interview. Thank God, none of which is technical. It maybe too early to say but I think I got the job.

I'm very happy right now, I'm getting all positive signs about this new opportunity.
